Learning Checks

How are the weekly learning checks going for your child? The learning check is a way that I can monitor if your kids are staying engaged in the weekly activities. New language came out this week from OSPI and the Issaquah School District about grading in PE and Music Classes. We ARE providing grades on the Trimester 3 report card. Therefore, we are encouraging your child to stay engaged in the assignments we provide each week. They will keep them fresh on the curriculum and help keep them in a similar routine to what we would be doing in PE class if we were in school. Grades will NOT decrease if students do not engage; Instead they will receive their same grade that was given to them for Trimester 2. If students received a low grade and would like to increase their grade, this is a great opportunity for them to end this school year on a high. Please have your child do the activities, complete the learning checks and send me photos or videos of them doing the activities. Thanks for staying engaged!!!
